Sunday School

Our Sunday School programs are from 9:15–10:15 am every Sunday.

Toddler (walking to 3 yrs) & Preschool (3 yrs – 5 yrs)

This class uses the David C. Cook Bible-in-Life Series, which is designed to appeal to different learning styles and to help children understand the application of God’s Word to their own lives. Each child is provided a “Make-it/Take-it” craft book sheet and “My Sunday Pictures” to help them remember the weekly Bible story. Playtime, craft time, and snack time round out their Sunday School experience.

Early Elementary Sunday School Class

(Kindergarten–2nd grade)

The “Bible for Children” curriculum. Each child is provided a weekly handout with the Bible story.  During the Sunday School lesson, the children color their handout.  The children are encouraged to read aloud parts of the Bible story.

Elementary Sunday School Class

(Grades 3–5)

Our older elementary class uses the LIVE Children’s Curriculum, an online resource designed to encourage kids to read their Bibles and increase their familiarity with basic Bible truths. Snack and special projects are part of the Sunday School period.

Middle/High Sunday School Class

(6th-12th grade)

Young adults provide the leadership for this class, which currently adapts the “LIVE Children’s Curriculum ” designed for older students. Some Sundays, this group may be divided by ages or by gender.

Six different Sunday School classes give adults of all ages ample opportunities to find a study that meets their interests and personalities! Some classes use a curriculum published by David C. Cook. Other classes explore recent Christian books, such as Radical by David Platt, or focus on particular books of the Bible. Some classes are taught by a designated teacher, while other studies are led by a rotating group of class members. Some classes are targeted to adults of specific age groups, while others celebrate their heterogeneity! Stop by the Welcome Desk on Sunday morning for more information about which class might be right for you. Better still, try a class for a Sunday or two—we guarantee that you’ll like it!
