Maundy Thursday at 12-1pm and 5-6pm
Prayer, Communion, and Foot Washing in the sanctuary
Stop by the Calvary sanctuary during the noon or 5pm hour. Somewhat in the style of Christmas Eve silent communion, you can come pray in the sanctuary, staying for as long as you like. Videos and music depicting Jesus’ last supper with his disciples will be playing. If and when you desire, you will have the opportunity to come forward to receive communion and/or foot washing.
Good Friday 12:00pm – 30-minute online prayer gathering via Zoom (link).
Good Friday 7:00pm – Cantata at Newark United Methodist Church
The Calvary congregation is invited to participate in this service featuring the cantata “Come, Touch the Robe” which will be performed by a combined choir of 3 local Methodist churches.
