“Habits of Holiness” Lesson Series at Youth Group in February
For the next month at Youth Group, we will be talking about what it looks like to live with sexual integrity in all aspects of life. Why are we talking about sexual integrity? Because we live in a culture that tells us real fulfillment in life comes from being in a sexually satisfying relationship. Whether it’s the songs we listen to, the movies we watch, or the influencers we follow, our world is promoting all sorts of ideas about sex and sexuality that have propelled far too many people into shame, regret, hurt, and bitterness. As followers of Jesus, we are called to something very different and so much better.
Bible Reading Plan for Feb 20-26 – “Greater Reward”
7 days – The disciplines you develop today determine the stories you tell tomorrow. So, how do you feel about the story you’re telling? In this 7-day Bible Plan accompanying Pastor Craig Groeschel’s Greater Reward message series, we’ll discover what discipline is, why it matters, and how to incorporate it in our physical, mental, and spiritual lives.
Bible Reading Plan for Feb 27-March 12 – “Habits of Holiness”
7 days – As followers of Jesus, we are called to live as holy people in order to represent our holy God. Holiness is not a magical destination we have to get to, but the identity we get to live from. In this Bible Plan, we’ll look at some of the habits we can implement to help us walk in holiness in our in-person and online relationships.
We exist for students to...

COME: fellowship with other Christians & worship God our creator!
GROW: in their faith & develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
GO: share their faith with non-believing friends
AND SERVE: God with their lives!
Current Bible Memory Verse

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. - 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. - Hebrews 11:1-2 (NIV)
What we will do...

We will SEEK God, our LIGHT.
We will DWELL in a TRIBE that cares deeply for one another.
We will live lives that TELL our STORY to the world.

Helping parents “bring up children in the way they should go” is one of the main ministries of our congregation. We are a safe place for children to grow; we have no tolerance for child abusers working with children. As in public schools and children’s clubs, our employees already have their backgrounds checked. Since our vote June 12, 2011, we are expecting all our volunteers working with children to have their backgrounds checked.
