Corey S. Fields, Senior Pastor

Corey came to Calvary in 2016. He is a native of Harrisonburg, VA. He went to James Madison University where he majored in Communication, minored in Music Industry, and played with the Marching Royal Dukes. He received his Master of Divinity from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, and then moved to the Midwest where he served as Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church, Topeka, KS for 10 years. While there, he earned his Doctor of Ministry from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He serves on the Board of Directors for American Baptist Home Mission Societies as well as Friendship House of Delaware. He writes columns for several Christian publications. He and his wife Dayna have been married since April 2003 and live in the Pike Creek area with their two children. Corey’s hobbies include reading, writing, biking, volleyball, and going on outings with family and friends. He and his family love beaches and were excited to move closer to them from Kansas. As a pastor, Corey likes to be active in the community and has a heart for those who have become disillusioned with the church. He says that one of the most fulfilling things for him is being able to give people a safe and non-threatening place to explore God, faith, and other big life questions.

Stacy Hauser, Administrative Assistant

Stacy grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, then graduated from Penn State. She has worked as a retail manager for Eddie Bauer, and as a secretary for Friedens (Peace) United Church of Christ near St. Louis and for Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church in Wilmington. Stacy moved to Newark in 2005 with her husband and they have two sons. She enjoys cooking, reading and traveling.

Jason Klinger, Facilities Manager

Jason has been working at Wawa Inc for more than 20 years within their facility maintenance department. He has worked for both Red Roof Corporate Offices and Wawa Stores. Jason enjoys all areas of building maintenance and takes great pride in his work. He currently holds an associates degree from Neumann University. When he’s not at work, you can usually find Jason on the little league field, at Church, or taking his family on a local adventure. Jason currently resides in West Grove, PA with his wife and two sons.

Destiny Miles, Nursery Care Provider

Destiny is an early childhood educator and curriculum coordinator, having worked in early childhood teaching and caregiving since 2016. Her full-time day job is the Cadence Academy Preschool in Newark. She describes herself as kind, loving and cheerful, and someone who cares for each child as if they are a part of her own family.
