The Calvary Youth Group just returned from a week of serving in the city of Philadelphia. Five students and three adults spent the week working at the home of an elderly women who badly needed her master bedroom renovated. We scraped, sanded, put up drywall on the ceiling, spackled, painted, and cleaned the room; a complete transformation. The homeowner was very gratefully for the work we completed. In addition to our job site we also got to experience powerful worship, Bible teaching, games, and fellowship. Two highlights of the week were a night out in the city on Wednesday and a community outreach cookout on Thursday. Our students all had a great time as we got to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the city of Philadelphia!Â
